Powerful Voice
Today I was reminded that a lot of our journey in life is about finding, exploring and delivering our voice.

Today I was reminded that a lot of our journey in life is about
finding, exploring and delivering our voice.
This voice is not just the sounds made by your mouth – but also the
message you are trying to put out into the world.
We each have something to say, sing or shout into this world. In
amplifying our chorus, we live and join the sounds of our hearts and
somehow give expression to each other. We come into existence and get
our true being to be exposed – to ourselves and others.
Some say that we are on this planet to rejoice. I challenge each one
of us to re-voice! We must find and practice way to express our
thoughts, feelings and being to bring fruition the very purpose of our
existence.
In the beginning there was the word – the very essence of creation is
in expressing the desire of being. Only in talking and expressing the
true nature of ourself do we realise and make the magic that ripples
into the universe.
In Happy Feet – there is the concept of a heart song. The movie The
King’s Speech also taps into this idea.
Some people do not have voices and need others to speak for them.
This only works when we speak true. Some people still need to discover
their voice. I heard about singing circles where people go for extended
periods (like 12 weeks) and get together regulary, stand in a circle and
start singing chants, latin music and various sounds or songs. The
interesting part is that many people that were tone deaf start
developing the necessary neuronal connections and ‘lose’ their tone
deafness. This also seems to promote healing as people start to get
better and find ways to express their true feelings in a non-judgmental
way – which is a key part of voice.
Singing, laughing, smiling and expressing is all part of being and
brings you into a presence – which is yourself.
A sound also has weight, moves matter around, connects neurons in the
brain, vibrates bones and has many effects. Sounds affect each other and
as such is a whole world – which if we could see it would have many
colors, patterns and spaces. Some advanced photography and visualization
tools can show how sound looks and it is fascinating.
Ancient Egyptians believed that certain people are born as messengers
to bring messages from other worlds. They also had spells and rituals to
block people from saying bad things about you in the afterlife.
If we all found our voice – imagine the impact it will bring.
May you find your voice and remember what you are on earth to tell
others.
